Add-2 debuted his powerful & poignant new video “Cotton Fields” (Directed by Cam Be) on acclaimed hip hop site Okayplayer which caused so much discussion it was trending on Twitter in Chicago. The video not only captivated his fans and other casual viewers but it also caught the attention of Hip Hop Legend and hometown hero Common who tweeted:

In the song, which will be featured on his upcoming project “Save.Our.Souls”, Add-2 addresses many issues relating to race & our modern society. The video ends with a controversial scene that most will not soon forget.  Since its release last week the video has reached 12,500+ views, has been featured on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show, The Urban Daily, has received praise from prominent members of The Nation Of Islam including Brother Jesse Muhammad & Brother Abel Muhammad, featured on a mass amount of hip hop sites and blogs including 2dopeboyz, HipHopDX, OnSmash and many more and still continuing to spread.
